Gucci footwear and Louis Vuitton handbags are not limited to the major Indian cities. Other cities and places around the nation are seeing the emergence of similar upscale consumption habits.

Among the noteworthy purchases made on Tata CLiQ Luxury this year are pre-owned Rolex watches from Ajmer and Nagpur, Mulberry purses from Nadiad and Aligarh, and Bvlgari items from Etah and Karimnagar, among other places.

The CEO of Tata CLiQ, Gopal Asthana, stated that e-commerce has made it possible for the luxury sector to expand its accessibility and reach. He also stated that non-metropolitan markets account for about 55 per cent of Tata CLiQ Luxury’s total income sources.

According to creator Vijay KG, the percentage of sales in tier 2 and tier 3 locations at Luxepolis, an online marketplace for certified pre-owned and discounted luxury products, has increased from 42 per cent two or three years ago to 52 per cent this year.
