This country with a dense population is called Bangladesh. Dhaka is considered the city of opportunities. From place to place fortunes differs massively. We have had glorious success in recent years and as Bangladeshi, we are very proud of our statements. Today’s article marks the extraordinary implications of Mostafiz Uddin, another Bangladeshi who joins the backlog of his senior statesmen who are constantly working hard to bring more glory to the country.

This is the second time the Denim Expert top official has made the index.

As part of the Revit 50, an annual list of the most influential denim leaders, Mostafiz Uddin, managing director of Denim Expert, was included. In an article published by Sourcing Journal on October 1, Rivet, the international media authority for denim, announced the publication of its annual denim leadership index. This includes the world’s most influential leaders in the global business of making and marketing denim.

As in previous years, nominations and votes from industry peers determined the Rivet 50. According to the report, more than 16,000 votes were cast online which selected honorees in five categories: execs, designers, supply chains, mills, and agents of change.

Mostafiz Uddin expressed his gratitude and delight in a post on LinkedIn. Mr. Uddin’s quote is mentioned below.

“In recognition of my accomplishments, I am grateful for all the votes that were cast for me. My friends have always believed in me and inspired me to continue my efforts and endeavors to bring about the expected changes in the global fashion industry.”

As an agent of change in 2018, he was also named in the Sourcing Journal’s index of the most influential people, for which he thanked the magazine. Among the 50 players in the 2021 Rivet 50, we find sustainable fashion designers, tech entrepreneurs, philanthropic leaders, and product developers.

Mostafiz Uddin, managing director of Denim Expert and founder of the Bangladesh Apparel Exchange (BAE), has been named in the Revit 50, an annual index of the most influential leaders in denim.

On October 1, Rivet, the global media authority serving the international denim industry, published the annual index for 2021, which includes the most influential leaders in advancing the worldwide business of making and marketing denim, reports the Sourcing Journal.

This year, Rivet 50 was compiled by nominations and votes submitted by peers across the denim industry. More than 16,000 votes cast online determined the international honorees culled from five categories: executives, designers, supply chain, mills, and agents of change, the report said.

He also thanked Sourcing Journal, for including him in the index as one of the most influential people, after naming him as an agent of change in 2018.

The 2021 Rivet 50 features diverse players in the denim business, spanning sustainable fashion designers, product developers, tech entrepreneurs, and philanthropic business leaders.

The list also includes – Jonathan Cheung, advisor, and designer at Unspun; Kerry Bannigan, Conscious Fashion Campaign founder; Scott Baxter, Kontor Brands president and CEO; Dixie Carter, Panda Biotech president; Malin Ekengren, Stella McCartney head of denim; Glenn Martens, Diesel creative director; Una Murphy, Levi Strauss & Co. director of design innovation, and more, according to the report.

Rivet executive editor Angela Velasquez congratulated the 50 honorees and thanked the thousands of voters who took the time to vote. Denim industry support for new ideas and talent can be seen in Rivet 50. This year’s Rivet 50 charted the evolution of the denim industry based on innovation, sustainability, and creativity. This marks the fourth year of the denim industry’s barometer.

Reports from Sourcing Journal noted the debut of mills and agents of change categories this year. Drapers Sustainable Fashion Awards awarded Mostafiz with the Sustainable Fashion Champion title earlier this year. Additionally, Uddin’s company Denim Expert was recognized by the World Economic Forum (WEF) New Champion Awards in November of last year, which honors companies engaged in exploring business models, technologies, and sustainable growth strategies for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In the virtual awards ceremony, judges said that Uddin is considered by many in the industry as a pioneer because he was the first member of Bangladesh to contribute to the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals Foundation.
