Italy’s retail trade value rises for 29th straight month in Jul 2023

  • In the three months to July 2023, Italy saw a 0.7 per cent rise in sales value.
  • July marked the 29th consecutive month of YoY retail trade value growth, increasing by 2.7 per cent, as per ISTAT.
  • Large-scale distribution grew by 5.5 per cent YoY, small-scale dipped by 0.1 per cent YoY, and non-store retail sales increased by 2.3 per cent YoY.
