One of the top companies in the textile industry, Sportking India Limited, recorded a 58 percent increase in net profit to  US $ 4.3 million for the fourth quarter that ended on 31st March.

The company’s quarterly revenue rose by 3 per cent to  US $ 75.7 million, compared to  US $ 73.6 million in the same period last year. For the full fiscal year, Sportking posted revenue of  US $ 304.1 million and a net profit of  US $ 13.1 million.

Chairman and Managing Director Munish Avasthi stated that the company delivered strong performance across key financial metrics in FY ’25. He highlighted that the Q4 results sustained the growth seen in earlier quarters, supported by robust export sales and better margins due to lower input costs, resulting in a 58 per cent profit growth.

He further noted that favourable input costs and solid domestic demand have kept yarn spreads steady. With efficient operations, prudent resource management, and a commitment to quality, the company expects to continue its growth trajectory into the next financial year.

Founded in 1989, Sportking operates three manufacturing units in India, producing a diverse range of textiles catering to both the knitting and weaving industry needs.
