BRICS+ Fashion Summit in Moscow transforming into vibrant tapestry of cultures

The highly anticipated international event BRICS+ Fashion Summit is taking place in Moscow from November 28th to December 2nd. This Summit promises to be the biggest event in the fashion industry this year, with experts and professionals coming from over 60 countries.

This international event boasts an impressive lineup of more than 200 speakers from all over the world. The Business Program counts on the participation of Yang Jian, Executive Chairman of China Fashion Association, Alia Khan, Founder and Chairwoman of Islamic Fashion and Design Council (UAE), Paras Bairoliya, Senior Member of Board of Governors at Fashion Design Council of India, Mubashar Naseer Butt, Chairman of Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers & Exporters Association (Pakistan), and others.

The focal points of discussion revolve around international cooperation, entrepreneurship, and technological innovation. Within the Business Program, a recurrent theme emerges—namely, the democratization of fashion and the establishment of new centers in the fashion industry across BRICS nations.

Throughout the 5-day Summit, Moscow will transform into a vibrant tapestry of cultures, as 12 countries will showcase their collections, sharing their artistic vision and national elements with the international audience. The attendees will be able to see David Tlale from South Africa, SADAELS from Argentina, Lucas Leão from Brazil; riteshkumar, KHANIJO, Naushad Ali and Shruti Sancheti from India, 陳宇CHNNYU from China and others.

The BRICS+ Fashion Summit will also feature a B2B showroom at the Parking Gallery in Zaryadye. With over 130 brands and designers from various continents, this space is designed for building strong relations between designers and buyers. Over 100 buyers have applied to take part in the event, including those from China, India, and Russia. The lineup of brands showcased in the showroom includes those from Argentina, Russia, India, Nigeria, Egypt, Turkey, South Africa and many others.

One more event in the framework of the Summit is a 5-day-long Fashion Intensive course. Professors and lecturers from leading fashion institutions will share their expertise and deliver one of their lectures, including Gregg Maragelis,  Head of Cape Town College of Fashion Design, South Africa; Gulbash Duggal, Dean of International College of Fashion, India; Priyanka Sarkar, senior management expert in the fashion retail industry, lecturer at EMDI, FAD, Middlesex University, UAE; Bediz Yıldırım, Founder of Bediz Co., Lecturer at Istanbul Fashion Academy, Oluwatosin Adelaja, Fashion Brand Development Consultant and Research Fellow at CIAFE, Nigeria; Tutu Jiang, Associate professor at School of Fashion Design of CAA, China; Olivia Merquior, Co-Founder of Brazil Immersive Fashion Week, Brazil and many others.
