Swedish fashion brand H&M has announced its next designer collaboration is with Puig-owned Spanish luxury label Paco Rabanne, which rebranded as Rabanne earlier this summer.

Paco Rabanne’s era-defining 1960s creations, since 2013 the house has been reinvigorated by creative director Julien Dossena.

Just a few days after Rabanne unveiled its extravagant metallic fringe and armor-inspired Spring 2024 collection in Paris, Creative Director Julien Dossena is already onto his next big moment

Ann-Sofie Johansson, Head of design womenswear and creative advisor at H&M said, “Rabanne’s metallic dresses are instantly recognizable pieces of fashion history. We’re thrilled to bring a dazzling array of Rabanne designs to our customers with this sensational collaboration.”

“As a designer, I’ve always been interested in exploring hedonism and empowerment. I was very enthusiastic to work with H&M on a collection that will introduce Rabanne’s avant-garde energy to a wider audience in a democratic way,” said Julien Dossena, creative director of Rabanne.

The Rabanne and H&M collection includes womenswear, menswear, shoes and accessories, as well as an H&M Home décor capsule that complements the fashion collection.

H&M was an early pioneer in the fashion collaboration space, launching its designer collaboration series with a partnership with the late Karl Lagerfeld in November 2004.

The collection will be launched in selected stores and online shops from 9th November 2023.

For spring/summer 2023, H&M teamed up with French luxury fashion house Mugler. The high-street brand has previously collaborated with the likes of Versace, Moschino, Balmain, and Giambattista Valli as part of its strategy to make high-fashion more accessible.
